Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Nic and Family,
I was so sad when I learned that Dave had passed away. I missed his big presence at the little café. I asked where he was. And they told me that his bright loving light went out suddenly. I only worked with Dave for a short time before he left Air Products but we had such fun running into each other since then. We shared the same humor and outlook on inclusion and supporting others. Just weeks before his passing, he had given me the most eloquent, gentle but firm pep talk about making time for exercise and the privilege of being able to take care of my health. It's never too late to get moving he said. I was moved. No wonder the seniors love you! I laughed. Dave let his light shine so bright that others were able to see their way out of the darkness. Thank you big guy.

Dear Nic and Family,
We are deeply saddened by Dave's passing. It often takes a lifetime to meet someone as genuine as Dave. He was a champion to all he encountered. He would brighten our day with his smile and wit. His light will remain in our hearts.

Dave - one of the best human beings I have ever met. What he did for me and countless others both at and outside work, is beyond words. He was truly happy seeing people at work develop and worked selflessly to support them. A genuine person. Either at work or outside of work, his sense of humor was class apart.

I owe a lot to you Dave ... will miss you.

May you rest in peace!

We love and miss you Dave. You were a ray of light, always had kind words (unless we were talking politics in private) and full of love. We will take care of Nic and hold you both close in our hearts. Thank you for giving me hope when I could not see it, believing in me, supporting me, making me laugh, fight hard in and out of the gym, for gigantic hugs and always creating a safe space for me to just be me and you being you. You lived in love, truth, honesty and compassion. I will miss talking about music, food, friendship, family, travel and health,. You are one of the most remarkable men I have have ever known. Forever in our hearts. I will always think of you when I see a rainbow. Miss and love you.

David, how I wish I had known you
as the Man you had become.

Inspiring at the gym with comic relief and quick wit, movie, music and restaurant reviews. He always had positive spin to working out and life. He will be missed, as a friendly face in the gym and for his spirit.
