Condolence & Memory Journal

I met Pat long many years ago attending Bethel Assembly together and had the privilege of visiting with her and her children in her home many times. Pat would remember me as
Sharon Tanis. She was always very sweet, kind, and loved the Lord very much. I know she is at home now with Jesus. To all her family and friends, my sympathy for your loss, and prayers are with you. If you know Jesus as your Savior, you will see her again some day. May our Lord comfort and strengthen you at this time.

Berry and I send our heartfelt condolences. We attended Bethel with Pat for many years and we often ended up at the same table during church get-togethers. Always looked forward to conversation with her. She will be missed.

Pat was well loved and respected by her family and those who knew her. She will be missed greatly by those who felt her presence in this life as she has left a hole that cannot be filled by any other human. Take comfort in Jesus, the Healer of our souls, and stand on His promises. The Apostle Paul gives us words of comfort: "But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep (died), lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then those who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). My thoughts and prayers are with you, the Long Family, during this difficult time...
