Cliff's apartment was across the hall from mine one semester at C.U. What a warm, kind, friendly young man he was, and a joy to watch on the football field. Cliff made a lasting impression on my heart, and I hope his family will find peace and comfort in their memories of such a lovely human being. God bless you all.

Sending my condolences to the family. We became friends about 9 years ago and would hang out every time we went to Oakland before the games. We met many of his nieces and nephews from Texas when they would come to a games in Oakland. Our friendship was special, he would call me "mother" stating he was in love with my daughter and ask me if I would be his mother in law. We heard from him every holiday and spoke to him the day before he passed away. Raider games will never be the same to me and my daughter Andie Danielle. May you feel God's comfort and treasure the memories of this genuine loving man. We love you will miss you Cliff.

Cliff Branch should be in the HOF, definitely. Greatest football player who was also a sprinter -ever. Not only did he have unbelievable speed, Branch also had great body control.

While in high school I watched the "Woody Hayes Show." Woody said Colorado's Cliff Branch was extremely dangerous and the fastest man he had seen on a football field. The next Saturday versus Ohio State, Branch gets his hands on a kick return and takes it to the house.

My condolences to his family and Raider fans. Branch played big.

I was lucky to have called him my friend. We had lost touch over the years (friends in the late 80s and 90s) but had reconnected briefly a year and half ago and it was like no time had passed. He was so full of fun, life, love and laughs. A contagious smile. When he found out my grandmother "Nana" was a huge NFL fan and Buffalo Bills fan, he would call her often to discuss the upcoming games and latest in the NFL. She would joke and say "My boyfriend Cliff called me again." She loved her Cliffy calls as she would say. That was the kind of guy he was - he knew it made her day and he made the effort to do it. I also remember he loved the movie the Sound of Music which always gave me a good laugh. Humble to the core and kind to everyone he met. Big loss for this world. I hope Hall of Fame finally does what they should have done years ago for this great man and NFL player. Prayers to Brent, Mark Davis and the rest of his family and friends. I know he had so many. RIP CB

The quintessential deep threat receiver. He had the perfect skill set: world class speed, moves, intuition, body control, and great hands. The key player that the Raiders needed, to rise to the level of Super Bowl Champions. Cliff should have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame A LONG TIME AGO!

Now reunited with Snake, Highway 63, and other Silver and Black and NFL greats from his era, on the big gridiron in the sky. Cliff's boss used to like to talk about the "greatness of the Raiders." We'll never forget the greatness of #21!
