Condolence & Memory Journal

I knew Susan as the younger sister of my good friend Greg Sanger. I remember Susan being full of energy, outgoing, and witty. I'm so sorry for your loss Greg and Judy. I know Susan will be sorely missed. I love the fact that she used her smarts to become a Professor and her heart to give back, not only to her students but managing a food pantry in her spare time! God bless Judy and Greg. I will be praying for your family. Love, Alan.

I had the honor of having Susan as my homeroom and english teacher in my sophomore year of highschool. Her chill attitude to her unending tolerance and acceptance of people quickly made her the best teacher I ever had. From a young age, Ive suffered with depression. At times, it kept me from performing well in school. In the past, Ive had an educator shame me for underperforming, thinking that it would help whip me into shape. Susan was a different breed of teacher. Susan noticed that something was awry, as I loved English, and she actually asked me what was going on inside. Susan was a no-bs, straight up boss lady and I will miss her dearly.

Susan had a dry sense of humor, she was honest and caring and kind. I will miss her very much.

She was my favorite English teacher at UH. She was caring and down to earth. She will be missed.

Mrs. Sanger was the best teacher at Sacred Hearts Academy. She will live in our hearts forever.

Ah, Susan, we did not know you very long but enjoyed you while we did. Sorry this had to happen to such an energetic, interesting lady.
