Condolence & Memory Journal

My sincerest condolences to the Greenzweig Family for the loss of your loved one, Gregory, and pray you find comfort in Psalms 91:2.

This is unfathomable. So rare is the teacher who makes each student feel heard and lovedand yet that was G.

I was lucky enough to be his student for nine of my formative years and I really felt that he was mine. I was wowed by his vast knowledge of seemingly every subject and comforted by him while grieving my best friend. He is the very reason I became an art educator. He was my teacher, my mentor, my father-figure, my friend. While my teenage brain was selfish, I am now confident that he was exactly that for thousands of students over the years. He was Pennsvilles Renaissance man and this is the end of an era.

My heart aches for the family he loved so much. I will always remember how excited he was to tell us Jenny was expecting Sarah. The joy on his face!

Jenny, Sarah, and Micah, please know that my family and I are sending love and light even though I cannot bear to be there next week. G was a one-of-a-kind, genuinely good human being and will be deeply missed forever. I am so glad we got together for ice cream last summer and that my kids got to meet G.
