Condolence & Memory Journal

Some of my best memories were made at Jerry's week as director at Spring Mill Bible Camp. He was a special one and I thought of him often through the years. My prayers for peace and comfort are with his family.

Wonderful childhood memories floating across my mind. Remember the times, during my UT days, that I signed out to Jerry and Annie Mae's home to get out of the dorm. They always invited me to out to eat--back then--any excuse to eat off campus was appreciated. Jerry used to take me to the basketball games at BGA. He is the reason I am such a huge basketball fan. Loved them and felt their love back. God speed, my dear uncle. You will always be in my heart.

A wonderful and kind gentleman that will be missed by so many. I always appreciated his kindness whenever I talked to him. A precious one that will be greatly missed.

Jerry was a great friend to our family. My wife Lorraine and son Rob have many great memories with the Bennett family. We were their guests one year at the Kentucky Derby.

They were our guests at the 1999 Outback Bowl in Tampa against Penn State. Best box suite ever.

We will sadly miss his great laugh, his great sense of humor and the great picture of him at Commonwealth Stadium with his radio head set on chewing on an unlit cigar. We love you and we will miss you good friend!
