Joel's entertained many of us by directing one of my all time favorites "Batman". Losing a loved one is never easy. May the Schumacher family gain comfort and strength from the God who cares (1Pet 5:6,7)

Thank you for directing another fabulous movie which was not mentioned but I truly loved it and saw it many times - The Phantom of the Opera. Thank you for bringing this to the Big Screen for those of us who could not see it on Broadway.

Joel Schumacher is a true Hollywood legend. I have enjoyed so many of his movies... "St. Elmo's Fire", The Lost Boys", "Flatliners"... just too many to name. And "Batman Forever", for all the negative press it seems to receive, was hands down my favorite of the 80's/90's series. Sending thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
