There's so much I'd like to say. Of course I discovered her in my late teens as Emma Peel in her trailblazing role in The Avengers. But I followed her career as a very talented actress of the theatre, film & Tv. Her beauty also was unique. I was shocked to hear she had passed away ...

I once drove Diana Rigg to a film studio as a V.I.P. driver sometime in the 90s. She was absolutely charming and we chatted all the way, never once mentioning her acting career. she was pleased with the V.I.P service and was one of the few people to ever give me a tip. May she Rest in Peace.

As a terribly shy, introverted teenager, I was able to grasp how extraordinarily funny, fearless, and present in the moment with other characters, Diana portrayed Emma Peel. I ended up being highly honored, and accredited in my career, dearly loved and loving, and forever appreciative of Diana Rigg.
Her character was an extraordinary model, to mirror and reflect upon, molding my own character. Her strength and charm abounded to the end. I just discovered the news of her death, listening again to her interview with the Oxford Union Society. May she be always immortal to us all, within.

My condolences to the Riggs family.
I really want to share you all my feelings that is why I am gonna write in french.

Kind Regards

My condolences to all the Riggs family.
I really want to share right words to express myself that is why I am gonna write in french.

Madame Stirling, que votre passion pour l'art continue à s'enrichir à chaque instant because Mrs Stirling we're needed !

Kind regards

Monsieur Arsène Godet et sa famille.

Diana Rigg graced our television set every Friday night at 10 PM here on Long Island, NY in 1964 in the Avengers series as Mrs. Emma Peel. Her grace, style, and charismatic personality drew countless viewers: that was her role which she will be remembered by the Baby Boomers of today. She was like no other actress of that era. She appeared in her own series appropriately titled "Diana". She starred as Lady Halliday in the Great Muppet Caper. She starred on Broadway and won a Tony. She gave an outstanding performance in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" for the James Bond Franchise. Most recently she was in a play "My Fair Lady" at the Lincoln Center, NY and on HBOs "Game of Thrones". Whatever character she chose to portray she gave so much depth and meaning: she was totally unforgettable! Thank You Dame Diana Rigg for the wonderful memories of your portrayal of the numerous characters you chose they will live in our hearts and minds forever. Our prayers and condolences for the surviving family members.

Rest in Peace dear Dianna,
"Mrs Peel, your needed, in heaven". To once again team up with Steed.

I have loved you since I was an eight year old boy watching The Avengers when it premiered in the USA.

I loved you in your series and movie work and regret I never saw you on stage.

I was fortunate to know Patrick Macnee while he resided in the Palm Springs desert. My biggest lifetime thrill would have been meeting Dianna.

Diana's talents were remarkable and her spirit engaging, a joy to watch!

My life would not have been the same growing if I had not had the trendsetting Dianna Rigg showing women everywhere that they could be more than secretaries.

The world has lost a rare treasure.

Everybody exposed to Dianna Rigg is compelled to fall in love with her.

Dianna's work had given her immortality and I will enjoy her work until the day I too Graduate to Glory. I will finally meet the essence of the vibrant Dianna Rigg.

My deepest condolences and sympathies to the Rigg family.

I am a 32 years old french man, and I cried for long minutes when I heard the news.
Dame Diana, although we were many years and a nationality apart, touched my soul when I was a teenager. Through her character of Mrs Peel of course. With her tremendous class and beauty, and certainly with her witty and sharp spirit. I always felt like we should have been friends, if it weren't for the timing. There was a vulnerability lying underneath but she always seemed to have the upper hand over it.

I regret I didn't know her personaly, wasn't blessed by knowing her flaws as well as her enlightening qualities. Diana is, to me, the best example of a woman and I will always keep her close to my heart.

My thoughts go to the family and friends. I say safe journey to Diana. Thank you for the joy and dreams. You will live in our hearts, and most certainly in mine. Rest in peace. Meet you sometime on the other side.

I thought Diana Rigg was a wonderful actress. She was a public figure whose obituary I might hope I would never have to see. I'm old enough to watched her in "The Avengers" in the early years when the episodes were first shown in this country. I remember her too in "The Hospital" with George C. Scott in the early '70s. I remember an article once that contrasted her wit, her intelligence, her sparkle, her style with the kind of roles some other women played, specifying Eva Gabor in "Green Acres." She will be, and should be missed.

It is a shock to hear of the loss of someone you have known and admired (perhaps even loved) for so many years ... fifty-five years, to be exact. I became a life-long fan only half-way through the first television episode in which I saw her (The Avengers, of course.). It was, in part, juvenile pubescent attraction; how could a sixteen-year-old boy NOT be attracted to a sleek, svelte woman clad entirely in black leather?
But her tremendous talent far outshone such puerile "M appeal", making me an eager audience of every performance available, and never once disappointment. The only disappointment was geographical: separation by a quarter of the world's circumference made it impossible to attend her many, certainly extraordinary theatre performances. Thank God for film and television!
You will be sorely missed, Dame Diana.

My deepest condolences and sympathy to the Rigg family.

Diana, although we were many years and a nationality apart, touched my soul when I was very young. Through her character of Mrs Peel of course, with her tremendous class and beauty, but most certainly with her wit, her sharp spirit.

It's almost beyond words, how many times I was thinking (and will keep thinking) of Diana.
Because her strength, humor, kindness and free spirit just shone through that character of Mrs Peel.
Was I in love ? Of course I was.. as many others surely. I always kept Diana close to my heart, also as an example. An example of what qualities women should have.
This is surely a fantasized idea I have of Diana, because I didn't really know her, but I am sure those qualities were real, going along with the flaws only her kins were privileged to know.

From a young french man heart, I say safe journey Dame Diana, thank you for the joy and strength you gave us. You will live in our hearts. Most certainly in mine. Rest in peace and love.
