You'll live forever in the memories of our youth

Posted by Ken Franc    October 02, 2020

I loved watching Bonni Lou Kern and her fellow "mice" and wish I had the pleasure of having met her as I did Jimmie Dodd, and, in later years, Bobby Burgess, Annette Funicello and my nurse (when she lived in Nashville), Darlene Gillespie.

I would even had settled for correspondence with Bonni, fortunate as I was to have had such exchanges with Paul Petersen, Jay-Jay Solari and Lonnie Burr.

Bonni was such a part of my childhood and all of these decades later her passing reminds me of that bond.

My sympathy to her family, friends and (other) fans.

I have so many great memories of her. I send my sincere condolences to her family , and I am praying that the God of all comfort provides them with strength and peace of mind during this difficult time.
