I met Mr. Nash many years ago fighting and riding bulls at his arena over in Houston back then Jesus had called me to preach the Gospel as Mr. Nash and I would sit and talk I went to him one night and shared with him what Jesus had laid on my heart to do, I had asked him if it were possible to minister to the cowboys and cowgirls on Friday night
before each performance and as we prayed together about it he encouraged me to do gods work at his place anytime, this was back in the early 90's He and his family helped me to start to minister that turned into every first Sunday of the month services right there as well,
he and his Family are a great part of why I pastor a Cowboy church In Waller TX today he shared a story with me of how when he was building his arena that his mother had prayed over it and she said One day the Holy Ghost would Reside there too and he had been waiting on the day. It wasn't long it began to happen people were baptized in Jesus name In the horse water trough filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in toques as the spirit gave the utterance. R.I.P. Mr. Nash I Pray comfort and peace over the whole family in Jesus name.

I heard so many great stories about Mr. Nash from my mom, who also went to Yates, and sang with him back in the day; they are the same age, 80 years young. My mom would still mention him to this day about their singing together and how she was supposed to travel with him but she opted out because her sister wouldn’t go with her. Missed out on her singing career. What a great voice you had!
