The Viking Prayer

“Lo, there do I see my father.
Lo, there do I see my mother,
and my sisters, and my brothers.
Lo, there do I see the line of my people,
Back to the beginning!

Lo, they do call to me.
They bid me take my place among them,
In the halls of Valhalla!
Where the brave may live forever!

Dave will definitely be missed. He knew everything that was happening in the neighborhood. He was good man and made living next door very interesting.
RIP Dave you will be remembered by all that knew you.

The Greatest grandpa a girl can ask for. My one and only grandpa. My bronze man. My entire childhood involves you. There wasn't a summer that went by that you didn't take me exploring the states with you in your truck. You taught me how to read maps. You would always let me take control of the routes and I would follow them with a pen so excited to show my dad everywhere we'd been. My favorite summer was when you snuck me into the casino and we got caught gambling. LOL That one makes us laugh every time we talk about it. Every time I ever experienced something new in life: traveling, riding on a boat, fancy restaurants, it was always my first time because you're made sure I got to experience it. I drop tears thinking about it all because there's just so many great memories I have with you. So if you see me crying from up there don't worry I'm only crying out of happiness, because I know you truly loved me PURELY. Tell grandma I said I love her and miss her too, and I know you're so happy to finally be up there with her again. As sad as I am that you're gone, I'm even happier you can be happy and at peace again. You're truly missed and I love you. Until I see you again... Forever my Bronze Man

You will be missed. You were a great father, mentor and an example of who I should be. We will see each other again. God Bless Dad

Dave was one of a kind "Good Guy". I met Dave playing golf with the Bush Golf Group at Riverlakes Golf Course. Some times he took it out on that little white ball not going where he wanted it. He always made us laugh at his humor which could be two tone. My best time with Dave is when we (Nancy and me) went to Mexico and stayed in Cindy's WHITE HOUSE. We had great times playing many different golf courses and laying by the pool side drinking mudslides and then at dinner we really goy into the good stuff. All the gang will miss Dave for the rest of our lives.
