Condolence & Memory Journal

Godspeed, and thank you for sharing a part of your life with us.

Rest Donald, until you hear at dawn,
the low, clear reveille of God.

Thank you for your service to this nation.

Have you seen any shows if so, which? I have directed them allWhat did you think? I think that I am one of the most fttounare people alive! I looked at the talent on that Memorial hall stage during Buddy' and it brought a tear to my eye. Not only are you all fantastically talented, but you are such a nice group of people. The support, encouragement and strength you give to each other and me creates the magic that has become Pukka. I'm not worthy to work with you guys it's a shame I refuse to go anywhere!!Any other comments? You are all and always will be my very special friends'. XXXXX

To Donald O'connor.
You were a very talented actor. You just great in the movies that's entertainment. Singing in the rain, etc. My prayers are with you Mr. O'connor . Lisa Weiner

I met Donald O'Conner when he was on a publicity tour. I asked him about a talk show he'd done for Metromedia that ran on a TV station I worked for. He said it was in his contract that he was to get a copy of every show. He told me he'd gotten nothing. One night Joan Baez was his guest and she kidded him about having his crib cards taped to the arms of the chair he sat it. He was a nice guy and available to his fans.
