Condolence & Memory Journal

Troy-Mary-Sam, During this tough time, it is best to dwell on what a hero and true patriot your father was. You know that I am always bragging about my service time, but it pales in comparison with his. There aren't many like him left. He has left us a great legacy.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Davenport Family. May you find healing and peace and may the joy that Mr. Davenport brought to all of you be his living legacy and memory.

It was obvious to me that Dave was very proud of his service to the military. The fact that he left us on Veteran's Day will remind me of him every year on this special day. May God's Spirit be with the Davenport Family during this time of grief.
