Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Mr. Welker & Family,
Our Thoughts & prayers are with all of you. Mrs. Welker was a wonderful lady. She touched so many people with her knowledge and wisdom. She had more get up and go then some people half her age. We loved when we would go to the polls to hear what piece of advice or trivia she would give us that day. Mrs Welker will be greatly missed by a lot of people.

Harold, Nancy and Jimmy,
I was saddened to read that Sarah had passed away. I was just speaking of her the other day! What a wonderful woman she was. She seemed to always see the simple truths and cut to the chase of any issue.

Actually, of all the classes I have attended in my lifetime, her typing class is the one that has supported me and my family for more years than I need to mention.

Please know that she touched all of us more deeply than even we may know. May God be with you.

Dear Welker Family:

The entire Mitiwanga Park family shares your loss. She was a joy, inspiration, and the back-bone of our community.

In the dictionary is the word "spunk", and next to the word is Sarah's picture. We so admired her spunkiness, her sense of humor, and her gift for clarity of thought and word.

Sarah had a razor-sharp mind that was only matched by her razor-sharp tongue. So many times she spoke the truth when everyone else was hesitant to do so.

Just thinking of her brings a smile, just thinking of her makes you know we were all fortunate enough to have this talented, smart, and delightful woman in our lives.

You were blessed to have her as a wife, mother, grandmother, and family member. Thank you for sharing her with all of us.

Mary Anne & Joe
Her not-so-secret admirers!

Dear Nancy (and Family);

I am so sorry about the loss of your mother. I remember her as one of my favorite teachers at Vermilion High School. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

From a friend from many years ago.
