Condolence & Memory Journal

Hi! Found this great photo of David. Thought I could send it to you, cannot attach to this note, though.
Send me your e-mail if you would like it, I know you responded before but I cannot find the address, sorry.
I think he is probably 19 or 20, I believe the photo was taken in Iowa City, it looks like Christmas in the background, maybe a restaurant? Tried to remember but can't recall.
I know the anniversary of his death is coming up, know that he was a good friend and you can tell by the smile on his face, a happy guy!
Hope your holidays are going as best they can,

How sad I am to learn of David's passing. David and I were best buddies at both Wartburg and Iowa. We always had a lot of fun at Wartburg and at Sigma Chi, he was a great listener and caring guy who was always there whenever I needed him. Lost track of him when I left college and now with the advent of Facebook, thought I would look for him. I am very sad to learn about his death.
I am going to look for some college photos of him, I can see his face, smiling, with his powder blue sweater and "big" hair.
I remember David as a sweet guy and hope you hope your memories will sustain you in your time of sorrow.

My dearest family whom I love so much. I cannot express the sorrow I have in losing our David. We wish we could be there to hug on each one of you. We lost a wonderful man, but God gained a wonderful man. I am certain Uncle Chuck and all those that have gone ahead of him were waiting at the gate as he arrived with arms ready to hug. Please know that we will be there in our hearts as you say your good bye's to David today and tomorrow. Much love to you all. Pam, Brian and Tony

I am so very sorry for your loss. These words do not even begin to tell you how I feel or the thoughts that loosing a loved one brings to the surface. Its only been a little over a month since we lost Mom (Aunt Marilyn, but the most comfort I have with dealing with Davids death is that I know she and all before her are and were waiting for David to take him back to heaven and begin to reunite our family. I love you guys so much and it breaks my heart to know that you are hurting. May God be with all of you and comfort you during this time. Love always Dianne Lentsch
