Nicholas Phillip "Phil" SMelley, age 80, born August 20, 1931, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Monroe County Hospital. Mr. SMelley was a native of Coker, Al and a resident of Whatley, AL. He was a Meter Technician with the City of Moss Point. Mr. Smelley was a member of Amity Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the US Army and the US Air Force.

Visitation will be Friday November 4, 2011 from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM Service at Amity Baptist Church, Whatley, AL with Rev. Percy Clarke officiating. Interment will be in Amity Baptist Cemetery.
