Raymond L. Ybarra Sr., 80, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012. Born in Dallas, TX, Raymond retired from Masolite Concrete after 44 years of service. He was a U.S Army Korean War Veteran that enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved being with his family. Surviving are his daughters, Cynthia (Al) Galvan of New Castle, Brenda (Jimmy) Ybarra, Kathy Firestine and Kimberly (Jay) Garver, son, Raymond Ybarra, Jr. all of Fort Wayne, sisters, Juanita Bustos of Warren and Eloisa Vasquez of Fort Wayne, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Shirley Ybarra. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2213 Brooklyn Avenue. with Fr. Timothy Wrozek officiating, calling 1 hour prior to Mass. Calling also 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Mungovan and Sons Memorial Chapel , 2114 South Calhoun Street, with a vigil at 4:30 p.m..
