Sue and family - Marjorie, Beverly and Chuck and family -
I was so sorry to hear about Stan's passing. Ron and I cherish the times we had together with Stanton when we lived in Lansing. That was when Stanton was working for Oldsmobile. Along with our visits in Lansing, I will remember the good times we had growing up. May God give you the strength to get through this difficult time.

I was stunned to her the tragic news about Stan. I just found out today how to send you my condolences since I don't have your current address. I watched the slide show of life images and remember fondly Stan with his baby in the recliner with the teddy bear and the wedding picture of you and Stan. There are no words to adequately express my sympathy for the profound loss you must be feeling. Please know that I am thinking of you and praying that the many good memories and the comfort of having Justin will enable you to live with this sad loss. If you are in E. Lansing ever again, please let me know.
Affectionately yours,
Diane Miller

Dear Sue, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I find I am at a loss for words. I remember your kinds words when I lost my mom. I want you to know I'm thinking of you and your son. I know that now as your grief is still so fresh it's hard to imagine it will ever pass, but fortunately a time will come when you will remember the good times with fondness. ( I wish you could just skip to that time.) Take care. Mary

I worked with Stan at Navistar and have many good memories of him as not only a great co-worker, but even more a very sincere and caring person. I know he put all his heart into everything he did and always wanted all he did to be of the highest level of quality.
Please know how saddened I am at Stan's passing and pray that you find comfort in the Lord.

I was saddened to hear of Stan's passing. I went to school and graduated with him from Huntington North. There were many of us that were looking forward to seeing Stan again at our high school reunion this year.
Even though he will not be there, he will not be forgotten.
I did get the opportunity to talk with him from time to time at Navistar, where I worked for 2 1/2 years. I am glad for that short time that God gave me to say hi and chat with him.
Our classmates will remember him, and I know God has prepared a place for him in heaven, where someday we will see him again as well as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sue and Justin--I am so sorry for your loss. I spent a lot of time with Stan commuting to Detroit. We had many conversations about the future and I want to let you know that you two were always first in his plans. Look to the Lord for your strength in this time of sorrow.

Sue and Justin,
I was a co-worker of Stan's during our Oldsmobile years. He was pleasure to work with and was so happy being married to you and proud of both you and Justing. He was such a kind person and so interesting and fun to talk with. You both are in my thoughts during this time.

To Stan's lovely family, thank you for letting us be a part of Stan's goodbye Friday night. What a wonderful family you are, so loving and like Stan, kind, respectful, and gentle. He used to stop in the Navistar Library now and then to pick up a book or order a paper and was always so nice, always a pleasure to chat with. Bob and I are so sorry for your loss and share in your grief. I hope as time passes you will focus on the good, happy memories and remember his wonderful accomplishments, his kindness, his sharp intellect, and his love for you. A friend shared this poem with me when I lost my sister, I hope it provides a bit of comfort to you.
The Little Ship
I stood watching as the little ship sailed out to sea.
The setting sun tinted his while sails with a golden light, and as he disappeared from sight, a voice at my side whispered, "He is gone."
But the sea was a narrow one.
On the farther shore a little band of friends had gathered to watch and wait in happy expectation.
Suddenly they caught sight of the tiny sail and, at the very moment when my companion had whispered, "He is gone" a glad should went up in joyous welcome,
"Here he comes!"

My thoughts and prayers go out to Stan's Son, Wife and Mother for the loss of your beloved Stan.
Stan was a pleasure to work with; very professional, very bright and always willing to lend a helping hand. He just recently helped troubleshoot an issue we were working through on a new product. Our team was so grateful for his help and expertise. We will miss him.
My God hold Stan in the palm of his hand and protect his family always and forever. Amen.

Sue & Justin
I heard of Stan long before I met Him. Dean and Marj were so proud of him and all he had accomplished. I heard many examples that confirmed how much of a loving son and a good man he was. I finally had the chance to meet him about 10 years ago and I saw how much Marjorie loved having him close by and being able to count on him.
I know from getting to know him how much he loved his family and how proud he was of you Justin....He was a good man and my heart hurts for you loss.
I pray that time will ease the pain and that you will continue to remember good times.....

I began working with Stan in 2000 at Navistar, where we worked daily together for over 3 years managing heavy truck product programs. He was a great engineer and manager, and I enjoyed our collaboration. All the projects we completed together were highly successful. Stan has been a friend through the years since we met. He has always been a person I could rely on. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with his family.

I was saddened by the news of Stan's passing. I have worked with Stan for many years on many new products and advanced technologies with Navistar. I believe we had a very special relationship and had great respect for each other. I will always remember Stan for the effort he made in nominating me for the annual Navistar Chairman's Award. He did not need to take the time to do this but that was the kind of person he was. I will never forget this kindness.
We will miss Stan greatly. He was a star and a major contributor to our advanced and current products at International. When we go down the road and see all the Internationals running on the roads of the world, we know Stan had a part in each and every one of them.

My prayers have been with you (his family and friends) and will continue. Stan and I only talked periodically, and I'm certain, that like you, it's difficult to think of him as no longer being with us. May the Lord comfort and console you, as is promised in Matthew 5:4. If it helps, I'm certain you will see how well regarded he was here at Navistar, with many friends here in Fort Wayne, as well as many who have moved up to Chicago. He will be missed here, but we will rejoice together in the Lord's kingdom.

Stan was my very close and dear friend from our early school years through college. We shared enough experiences and adventures to fill a book and I will always cherish those memories. Stan enriched my life in many ways. His keen intellect and insights deeply influenced my life and through his example I took on greater challenges and set higher goals than I would ever would have accomplished on my own.
