I was so sorry to learn this evening of my Uncle Ben's passing. His wife Barb is my Dad's sister. He was the kindest, gentlest man and I loved his smile. Brad, I am so sorry for your loss. Having lost my mom in June, I am acutely aware of the pain of losing a parent. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family during this time. Please give your mom a hug from me. I miss the times from our childhood when we would get together at Grandma's house or the family reunions in Princeton. I loved seeing the hills of WV. I pray for peace and strength for you as you remember your dad and comfort your mom. Cousin Chris

I am the daughter or Ben's Sister, Phyllis Bane Hillyard. I believe I was only 3 years old when I last met Uncle Ben. I have enjoyed hearing stories that my mother told of her sweet brother and how much she loved and adored him. I have spoken to Uncle Ben on the phone to inform him of his sister's passing. It is so sad that she too, died with a broken hip accident. I could tell he was stressed with the care of his wife. As was my mother stressed with the care of her handicapped son. I am so sorry for his loss and know how sad this time is. Please know you are in my thoughts, I wish I could be there to pay tribute to such an outstanding Man. Bless you all at this most difficult time.
