I have many fond memories of Uncle Rog, since I spent alot of time at their house with Diana. When I think of Uncle Rog, I think of OSU, the Detroit Tigers, Louis Armstrong, playing ball, golf, fishing, singing, and dancing with Aunt Winnie. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

It is with great sadness that I am here today. Roger was great friend and mentor to me, a wonder friend to my father, and the best neighbor anyone could have. I was truly blessed growing up on Franklin St. and being part of Rogers and Wini's lives.

Roger took me to my first OSU game. I was a little down after breaking my ankle and missed my senior year of football. I am sure he could have taken any one of his buddies to the game and had a better time, but he knew it would help me so I got to go. Every time I go to a game of think of my friend, and how much I enjoyed spending that sunny day with him, watching OSU beat Indiana.

I pray that God will continue to console you and your family during this time of grief. I and my family will miss Roger dearly.

So many fond memories of Uncle Rog growing up. He was so handsome and he and Uncle Bid would always give me their New Year's Eve horns and hats when I stayed with Grandma New Year's Eve. Our family picnics were famous for great food and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Uncle Rog and I would discuss Ohio State athletics, particularly football, and he would always offer his opinion as to why OSU was winning or losing. You are sorely missed by so many who loved you deeply, including me. Rest in peace and say "Hi" to Jim for me.
