Jimmy, Nancy, Chris, and family, I am so sorry to hear about this! And so short after my own dad passed away! My heart goes out to all of you as you remember your wonderful dad. He was a special man. What I will remember most about him was his caring heart. Whenever I would talk to him he would always ask me questions and how I was doing. It was like he picked up where we left off from our last conversation, even if it was a long time apart. I'll be praying for all of you.

Your dad was a great man in my eyes. He was my first employer selling brooms and dish clothes on the streets of Detroit. What a great feeling when we were through for the day and your dad would peel off those greenbacks and hand them over to us youngsters. He overcame and carried on a life that was an example for all of us. I only saw him as a joyful and loving person with an incredible memory. My heart and prayers are with the family as they lay their dad to a much deserved rest.
