I'm extremely sorry for your loss. Though we didn't see eye to eye on some things, he was a great man who deeply cared and loved this country and his family-no one can argue that. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless.

So sorry for your loss Barb and family. I didn't know Rick well or get the chance to but the time we talked and had at the picnic was enjoyable. I was looking forward to more picnics and talks but you were gone too soon and I didn't have any idea you were real sick. I'm glad we reconnected. My grandfather was Bert Olney. At least he's not suffering,he's in a better place now.

Barb and family...I know your sadness right now is overwhelming, and I pray daily for the healing to begin for all of you. Ricky was an amazing man with the biggest heart and will be missed by many!! Ricky, my dear cousin, I'm so greatful that we reconnected and I had the past few years with you back in my life thanks to finding each other on FB. I will cherish our long talks, and your words of advice and wisdom forever. I will especially hold dear our 2hr talk on phone just 2 short weeks ago!! My heart is so heavy with sadness that my planned visit to see you this weekend never happened, but I know that you are in better place- no longer suffering- and that I will see you again!! You are in my heart forever, I love you xoxo

My mother was ricky's aunt. He was a much older cousin. I have nothing but fond memories of cousin ricky. His smile would light up a room and brighten what seemed to be a hopelessly gloomy one. His laughter was like a rumble of joyful thunder. I remember as young as 8 years old stayin at Rick and Barbs house for a night or weekend and watching Rick draw his comics and sharing his collection with me. Although I have not seen u in years cousin, as I always have I will always hold you and our times we shared and spent together close in my heart. You were always a man deserving the utmost respect. Barb my deepest sympathies go out to you and yours during this time of mourning. Cousin Ricky's light and spirit is one that will for sure never fade.
