Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this time of tremendous grief. Aunt Doll was a strong woman and raised 10 great children. We wish we could have been there to honor her, but my health issues prevented travel. We will keep all of you in our prayers.
Love, sandy and Mike

I am so sorry for your loss.
Your mom was such a quiet, gentle, kind woman.
I spent many hours/overnights in her house while growing up and I'm not sure if I ever saw her really angry.
When she spoke sternly and wasn't smiling, even though she spoke quietly, she meant it!
I remember her so fondly and your house as such a warm, friendly place.
She was truly the heart of your family, and I mean no disrespect to the memory of your goofball dad!! :-)
Your mom sent me a lovely card and note when my mom died in March, and I wanted to call Jackie to see when a good time to visit her might be, or if she was up to it... Then before I knew it, I saw her obituary in the paper. Wow.
While it is a blessing that she is at peace, it is hard to have her taken so suddenly and then have to figure out how to fill that huge void... But she certainly left alot of love and laughter behind.
You are all with me in spirit...
Please take good care...

Our condolences to the whole family. I remember sleep overs with Joe when we were in grade school. With a large family, there was always a lot of commotion in the Dorvinen household. Mrs. Dorvinen always seemed like an island of calm in the midst of it all.
