Abilene was born on May 13, 1920 and passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018.

Abilene was a resident of Louisiana at the time of passing.

Abbie grew up in Many, Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana Normal School (Northwestern).

Visitation will be on Tuesday evening, March 13, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 921 Paul Maillard Rd. in Luling, LA from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday morning, March 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at the church. Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. Visitation at the First Baptist Church from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on March 13, 2018.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to UNICEF, https://secure.unicefusa.org/donate in Abbie's name.
