Duke, Ada Maxine Holsclaw Lange, 94, formerly of Clearwater died January 18, 2018. She had been residing at Memory Care Residences at Brooks Bartram, Jacksonville since 2014.

Maxine was born in Glasgow, KY and was a graduate of the Illinois Wesleyan School of Music where she was a member of the Sigma Alpha Iota Sorority. She taught one year of high school Music in Chenoa, IL before marrying Glenn Duke of Pontiac, IL in 1946. They lived in Chicago for three years before moving to a farm that she inherited in Gibson City, IL. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 65 years. During her lifetime she was a pianist and soloist at many charities, clubs and social functions. In 1959, they moved to Clearwater, FL. She enjoyed homemaking activities, family activities, playing bridge and rooting for the Florida Gators. She's preceded in death by her husband, Glenn.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Diane Duke, Jo-Ann Dean and husband Larry, Debbie Duke, 2 grandsons Jason & Jeff, and 2 great grandchildren as well as many other loving family members and friends.
