Albert P. Aleks was born August 1, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to William and Margaret (Nee Kootsillas) Aleks. He passed away peacefully on September 15, 2016 in Warren, Michigan with his family by his side. He was an elementary school teacher for 34 years with Warren Consolidated Schools. While he was adored by all of his students, no one adored him more than his children and grandchildren. He was also a long time member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2835, and proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years Pat, daughters Carole (Chris) Milewski, and Janice (Walter) Ruppel and grandchildren Brian and Alison. Vistation for Albert will be Monday, September 19th, 2016 from 3:00pm – 8:00pm with a rosary service at 7:00pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, at Masonic (13 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 E. 14 Mile Rd., in Sterling Heights.
