Alberto passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.

Alberto was a resident of Brownsville, Texas at the time of passing.

He attended St. Joseph Academy and Brownsville High School where he was a member of the choir that featured his magnificent voice.

He served in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey from 1959 - 1962, with the rank of Private First Class.

Jefferson St. Brownsville, TX 78520 Saturday, February 10, 2018 9:00 a.m. Alberto Briseño Jr., 83, of Brownsville entered into the glory of his eternal life on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Friday evening in the East Chapel at Darling - Mouser Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 10, at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Cathedral, 1218 E. Jefferson Street, Brownsville, Texas 78520. All services will conclude after the Mass and in accordance with Albert's wishes, cremation will follow.

As per Alberto's request, in lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church to supplement the pantry that helps feed the homeless in his community.
