Alexander O. Custodio, M.D., 87, of Altamonte Springs, FL, passed away October 22, 2017. He was born to the late Jesus (Atty.) and Luz Custodio in the Philippines on May 1, 1930. Alex was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a graduate of the College of Medicine of St. Thomas in the Philippines. He came to the United States in 1959 with his surviving wife, Camia Acevedo Custodio, M.D. Alex was a board certified Forensic Pathologist. They lived in Wisconsin, Chicago, and Miami in addition to the Philippines, learning and practicing medicine along the way. In 1996, Alex and Camia retired to Florida. Together they enjoyed traveling all over the world for medical conferences. Alex liked to hunt and fish, and especially enjoyed spending time with friends in his retirement. He will be deeply missed.

Alex is survived by his wife, Camia Acevedo Custodio, M.D.; his children, Hope Custodio, Vincent A. Custodio, and Alexander A. Custodio, Jr. (Esquire) and his wife Jayne; as well as 2 grandchildren, Alexander III and Vicente J. Custodio.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 30 at 9:30 am at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1020 Montgomery Rd., Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Annunciation Catholic Church.
