Alice A. (Moreau) Guilmain, 88, of Nashua, NH passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at her residence in Nashua with her family by her side.


She was born in Nashua, NH on March 1, 1922, the daughter of the late George and Annie (Cardin) Moreau.


Alice was a lifelong Nashua resident. She was educated in the local school system, graduating from St. Louis High School. She is a communicant of Infant Jesus Parish, where she held the title as their longest active parishioner. Alice was an extremely loving wife, a devoted mother, a dedicated grandmother, and a proud great grandmother. Her greatest achievement and love in life was her family. They will always remember the lessons that she taught them, the good times they shared and the caring and love that she showed to each one of them.


Alice is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years; Raymond I. Guilmain of Nashua, a son; Richard Guilmain and his wife Elaine of Hollis, NH, a sister; Irene Gosselin and her husband Albert of Nashua, three grandchildren, Deberah Lang of Temple, NH, Jeffery Guilmain of FL and Brenda Kervin of Townsend, MA; four great grandchildren, Audrey and Samuel Lang, and Mason and Olivia Guilmain; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.


Visiting hours were held on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at ST. LAURENT FUNERAL HOME, 116 ELM STREET, NASHUA, NH 03060. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Blessed John XXII Parish, Infant Jesus Parish in Nashua. Burial followed at Old St. Louis Cemetery in Nashua.
