WIMBERLEY, Allie Lou “Loulie”, 94, was born on January 29, 1923 in Mayo, Florida. She lived in Holly Hill, Florida and settled in Orlando, Florida in 1958. She worked as a sales clerk for Belk Lindsey in Orlando and advanced to the position of buyer for the children’s department, which was impressive since she only had an 8th grade education. She retired from Belk Lindsey in 1988. She loved to travel and her job took her to New York City and Charlotte, North Carolina often. She also traveled throughout the United States, including Hawaii; and Europe and Israel. She loved the beach and swimming. Allie loved crossword puzzles and “Wheel of Fortune” for which she could out smart anyone. She loved to play games and enjoyed the “competitive” card game called Hand & Foot, as well as Scrabble and Dominos. She taught her grandchildren and great-grandchildren how to play cards, and there were many long nights of competition and laughter. She was a devout Christian lady and though it was tested many times her faith was never broken. She was a member of Azalea Park Baptist Church for 50 years, where she was the treasurer, and ran the food pantry for the church. In recent years, she became a member of South Conway Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Ralph; son, Alan; parents, Norwood and Rosalean Pearson; 6 brothers; 5 sisters including her identical twin. She is survived by her daughter, Bonita; 7 grandchildren; Sherri, Kerri, Scott (Tami-Lee), April (Paul), Crystal (Debbie), Tish (Randy), and Bryan (Melissa), 8 great-grandchildren; Staci, Allie (Carl), Danny, Megan, Austin, Jake, Jasper, and Darren; 3 great-great grandchildren, Cadence, Connor, and Amelia; and many family and friends. With great sadness we had to say farewell to this wonderful lady who touched more lives than can be counted and you know who you are. Her services will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at South Conway Baptist, located at 6099 South Conway Road, Orlando, Florida 32812. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00-12:00pm, followed by service at 12:00pm. The family invites everyone to stay from 1:00-3:00pm for fellowship and refreshments. Flowers are appreciated and can be sent directly to the church. Family is invited to her burial on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 12:00pm at Woodlawn Memorial, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734.
