Alma Mae Miller, 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2016 in Midland, Michigan.

She was born May 1, 1924 in Weidman, Michigan to Elmer and Sarah (Nutt) Gross. She spent much of her early years living on a farm that had no running water or electricity. Later in her life, Alma learned to use and enjoy her computer in between wintering in Vero Beach, Florida, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her beloved family. Alma loved the Lord, and spoke often about her faith. Her logic, reasoning, and kindness were constant, and a comfort to her family for her entire life.

Alma was preceded in death by her first husband, James Vogel, her second husband, Robert Miller, two sisters, Lucille Branson and Oral Finney, and one brother, Melvin Gross. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, James (Diane) Vogel, Nan (Steve) Topor, and Jack Vogel; her step-children, Robert Miller, Janice Foster, and Marianne Cushman; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her great-great-grandchild.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11:00am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington St., DeWitt, Michigan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial services at the funeral home.
