Ammon was born on March 21, 1925 and passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017.

Ammon was a resident of Mississippi at the time of passing.

HE GRADUATED FROM PENN STATE IN STATE COLLEGE, PA, SERVED IN THE US ARMY DURING WW II AND WORKED IN SHIPBUILDING DURING MOST OF HIS CAREER; EXECUTIVE VP, EQUITABLE SHIPYARD IN NEW ORLEANS; PRESIDENT, BURTON SHIPYARD IN PORT ARTHUR, PRESIDENT, INGALLS SHIPYARD, DECATUR, ALA; PLANT MANAGER STRUCTURAL STEEL DIV.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE CONDUCTED AT A LATER DATE WHEN HIS CREMAINS WILL BE INTERRED AT JACKSON COUNTY MEMORIAL CEMETARY.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, YOU MAY DONATE TO THE ALZEHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION OR HOSPICE OF LIGHT.
