Andrew Clarence Patterson Sr. was born on October 20, 1942, in Boley, Oklahoma. Andrew was the third born of ten children from the union of Leonard Carl Patterson, Sr. and Emma Rentha Fullbright Patterson. Andrew was affectionately called “Tiny” by his family.



Andrew received his education in Boley, Oklahoma and graduated from Hanford Union High School in California. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1961 and served with the 2nd Airborne Battle Group 187 Infantry, after completing his tour of duty he received an honorable discharge in 1964.



Andrew retired from Lockheed Martin where he worked for over thirty two years. He received a special award of recognition for his skills, dedication and hard-work on the tooling for the Lockheed Martin - NASA X-33 Demonstration Vehicle in October 1998.



Andrew was a founding member of the Third Generation Masonic Lodge #5 of Fresno, California in which his father and brothers were also founding member s. He enjoyed reading, sports, fishing and spending time with his family.



On March 2, 2016, the Angels came and took Andrew Clarence Patterson Sr. to heaven where he could once again be with his lord.



Andrew “Tiny” Clarence Patterson Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: six children, Diana Patterson; Andrew Carl Patterson; Tracy Patterson Pembleton; Andrew Clarence Patterson Jr.; Willie Paul Patterson and Derrick Seymour (Stepson); many grand children and great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.



The Patterson Family would like to take this opportunity to thank the many friends for the cards, flowers, condolences and other expressions of sympathy. We will be forever grateful for your thoughtfulness.



His viewing will be taking place at Joshua Mortuary Palmdale: 3150 E Palmdale Blvd., Palmdale, CA 93550 on March 14, 2016 from 9 am to 11 am. Funeral Service will take place at 11 am after the viewing resumes. Graveside will follow to Desert Lawn Memorial Park 2200 E Ave S, Palmdale CA 93550.
