Andrew Forrest Rettke, 22, passed away July 22, 2017, at San Antonio Military Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

A Remembrance Service was held Sunday, July 23, 2017, at his parents' home. The family will visit with friends Friday, July 28, 2017, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church in Columbia. Inurnment will follow on Sunday at Mount Carmel Church Cemetery in Benton, Kentucky. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with announcements.

Born April 4, 1995, in Franklin, Tennessee, he was the son of Mark Rettke and Lynne Loveless Rettke. His early years were spent in Murfreesboro and San Antonio, Texas. A 2013 graduate of Madison High School, Andrew joined the Army Reserve and was the recipient of Certificate of Achievement.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Dan & Mary Loveless; aunts, Linda Rettke, Lelia (Wallace) Ardry, Lisa (Mark) Mabry; and cousins, Logan Ardry, Wesley Ardry, Michael (Yolanda) Mabry; Amelia Mabry, Marla Mabry, Rebecca (Micah) Wyssmann.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jody Rettke; and uncle, Donald Rettke.
