86, passed into heaven December 1, 2017 surrounded by family after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Andrew was born on November 23, 1931 to Angelo Puleo and Felicia Massaro Puleo. Andrew grew up in West Tampa across the street from Rey Park where he spent his childhood playing with neighborhood friends. A son of first generation Sicilian Americans, Andrew had a simple, loving childhood. Following graduation from Jefferson High School in 1950, Andrew enlisted in the US Army and served in the Helicopter School Scheduling Office in Fort Eustis, VA, where he earned the rank of Staff Sergeant and received the National Defense Service and Good Conduct medals for his service through 1955. Andrew returned to Tampa and enrolled at the University of Tampa where he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity and graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 1959. After college, Andrew worked at the Continental Can Company as an Accountant for 23 years then worked at the Florida Department of Revenue for 15 years until retiring in 2003. Growing restless, Andrew accepted a position as the first employee at Web Commerce Partners where he continued to work until the day after his 86th birthday. Andrew served as Knights of Columbus Trustee and Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus. Many people will remember Andrew by his love of family, strong determination, thoughtful advice, the generous time he spent in conversation, and the numerous life lessons he shared.
