Angela Denise McLeod of Blythewood, passed away April 5, 2017. She was born July 10, 1960 to Horace and Lois Wilson Black. Angela was the beloved wife of Keith McLeod, mother to Eric and Adam Bennett and future mother-in-law to Eric’s fiancé Rhiannon McNamara. She loved nature, especially butterflies, birds and flowers. Favorite activities included spending time at the beach with her husband, cheering on the Clemson football team, watching her son’s football and wrestling matches and watching her sons grow into fine young men. Angela will also be missed by her delightful, constant companions, Drake and Pawley.
Angela was a highly skilled legal secretary, having started her career in the Washington DC area and for the past 20 years working with Robin Stanton and Dotsy Helms of McNair Law Firm. A highly valued and well loved individual, she not only possessed superior judgment and organizational skills but also the ability to take shorthand as well as a complete understanding of the efficiencies of computer technology.
Angela has fought a four year courageous battle against cancer with her loving husband fighting every step alongside of her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to SCOA Cares in Columbia, SC or MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.
