Anita P. Herrera July 30, 1921 - March 31, 2015 Anita P. Herrera of Chilton went to be with her Lord March 31, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 7, at St. Francis Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., and Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 6, at Brazos Funeral Home. Anita was born July 30, 1921, in Bastrop, Texas, to Alcario and Juana Puente. Anita has been a lifelong Roman Catholic and a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Waco. She was a member of the Guadalupanas for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Antonio Cruz Herrera; son, Thomas P. Herrera; two brothers, Emilio Puente and Vincente Puente; and two sisters, Rosa Alba and Evangelina Gonzales. She is survived by sons, Antonio Herrera, Jr., of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Maximo Herrera, Sr., and wife, Fina, of Waco; eight grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Christian Herrera, Anthony J. Herrera, Rey Ramirez, Danny Sedillo, Maxie Sedillo and Adrian Balderas. Honorary pallbearer is Maximo Herrera III.
