Ann Marie Russo, 75, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2017, in the comfort of her home. Born in Brooklyn, she moved to New Windsor, NY, and spent many years in Easton, MD before moving to New Jersey. She retired as a Teacher's Assistant from the Newburgh School System. Ann enjoyed traveling, playing cards, her church, and was happiest when spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt and friend who will be deeply missed but always remembered for her caring nature and kind heart. Predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mary Hitti; her loving husband, Joseph J. Russo; her brother, Fred Hitti and her mother-in-law, Minnie Russo; she is survived by her children, Kim Russo and Mary Hile of Yonkers, NY, Paul Russo of NY, NY and Lori and Brian Klabbatz, Jr. of Hamilton, NJ; her grandson, "The Prince", Brian D. Klabbatz, III; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rosemarie Russo and Joseph Ostrowsky, Linda and John Galpin, Paul Russo and Diane Dougherty; nieces, Lisa Esposito, Claire Nettleton, Diane, Gail and Sophia Hitti; nephew and his wife, Fred Hitti and Linda Estacio as well as many extended family members and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square NJ 08690. Cremation will take place privately. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square NJ 08690. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Russo's memory to the American Heart Association or Ryan's Quest by visiting In Memory Of at www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.
