Anna L. Glasscock, age 86 of Ft. Madison, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 3:27 PM at The Madison.
She was born on January 17, 1929 in Revere, MO to Glen and Pearl Stehl Vice. On April 6, 1947 Anna married Dean Glasscock and he passed away on March 19, 2008. Anna was a homemaker and a member of Luray Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, reading, sewing, baking and spending time with her grandchildren and her many friends.
Survivors include her son, Lonnie (Vera) Glasscock; two daughters, Julia (Dave Soppe) Smith and Twila Parke all of Ft. Madison ; six grandchildren, Kelly Reeder, Josh Smith, Tracy Glasscock, Jake Smith, Levi Parke and Megan Parke; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Byrne of Keokuk; sister in law, Pauline Hall; brother in law, Dean Seltzer; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister.
The family will meet with friends from 3-6 PM on Monday, March 30, 2015 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a private family burial on Tuesday in Oakland Cemetery, Soldiers Circle.
