Anna Lee Fout Triplett, age 85, passed away Sept 22, 2016 at the Hubbard Hospice House West from complications related to a fall in July. She resided most recently at Riverside Nursing Home in St Albans, as well as One Morris Place in Charleston, MeadowBrook, WV and residing in Virginia Beach, VA for 3 yrs.



She was born June 7, 1931 in Shrewsbury, WV to the late Alfred Lee Fout and Minnie Elsie (Parker) Fout. Anna was preceded in death by her sister Janet “Keith” Hastings, brothers Alfred L Fout Jr, Ronald E Fout, and grandson Howard Sterling Jr.



She was a graduate of Dupont High School and retired from Dupont Plant in Nov 1989 after 30 yrs of service. She was a life long member wih the Grand Chapter of West Virginia Order of the Eastern Star. Annie was a kidney transplant recipient in Jan 1999. She contributed countless hours and years of volunteer work for CORE, Center for Organ Recovery Education. She was also a Regional Coordinator for the National Kidney Foundation of the Virginias in the Charleston, WV office.



Affectionately known as “NeNe”, she had an infectious laugh and a smile for everyone that would light up a room. The love of her life was Jeremiah “Jerry” Triplett, to whom she was married for 25 years. She had 3 step-children that she loved as her very own, Sherry Shaible of Cincinnati, Ohio, Thomas (MaryAnn) Triplett of Ash, NC, and Susan (Richard) Petch of Ash, NC. Annie had 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends, Patty, Alice and of course Jonathan. She will be especially missed by granddaughter, Mendi, with whom she had a very special bond throughout it all.



Please help us celebrate her life during services to be held at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home 5233 Rocky Fork Rd., Cross Lanes, WV 25313, on Sat. Nov 5, 2016. As a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Pastor Rev. Dr Snedegar will be officiating. Visitation at 11am and service at 12pm.
