Annis Jarnagan, 96, of Charleston, AR, passed away June 12, 2017. She was born October 8, 1920, in Branch, AR, to the late John F. Guinn and Florence "King" Guinn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Jarnagan, one son Charles R. Jarnagan, and four sisters; Mae Ware, Marie Scruggs, Sue Eskew, and Almay Graham, three brothers; Ted Guinn, O.H. Guinn, and J.C. Guinn. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Charleston, AR. She was a member of the Home Extension Club, Quilting Club, involved in the Hospitality at First Baptist Church, and did quilting at the Senior Citizens Center. She also volunteered at Greenhurst Nursing Home for activities for over 14 years.

Left to cherish her loving memory is two daughters; Regina Brown and Janis DeCoster; one sister, Ruth Whittenburg; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren, special nephews; Rick Guinn and Harold Whittenburg, and lots of other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10 AM, Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Smith Mortuary Chapel with burial at Garden of Memories in Charleston, AR with Rev. Mike Love officiating. Services will be under the direction of Smith Mortuary, Charleston, AR.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 14, 2017, from 6PM to 8PM at Smith Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be Todd DeCoster, Vaughn DeCoster, Harold Whittenburg, Rick Guinn, Charles Whittenburg, and Gene DeCoster.

Memorials may be made to Peachtree Hospice.
