Anthony J. Beroldi ATHOL- Anthony J. "Tony" Beroldi, 50, of 138 Burma Road, died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, May 25, 2010 at Boston Medical Center, Boston. Born in Greenfield on September 5, 1959, he was a son of Adelbert and Patricia (Mongrain) Beroldi and grew up in Orange, graduating from Ralph C. Mahar Regional School in 1977. Following high school, Tony worked briefly at the former Union Twist Drill in Athol and later worked at the Peterborough Ball Bearing Company in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Tony had been employed by the F & D Tool Company in Three Rivers for a number of years. A skilled craftsman, Tony enjoyed woodworking and had made numerous pieces for family and friends. He also had enjoyed playing cribbage and darts. Tony will be sadly missed by his family and friends and had a great personality and kindness. Survivors include his mother, Patricia Beroldi of Orange; sisters, Julianne Deegan and her husband, Michael, of Carthage, North Carolina, and Tracianne Beroldi of Orange; two nephews, Patrick and Robert; and three great aunts. Tony was predeceased by his father, Adelbert, on May 4, 2006. There are no calling hours. A graveside service in South Cemetery, Orange, will be held at a date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Radius Speciality Hospital, c/o Bariatric Unit, 59 Townsend Street, Boston, MA 02119, or to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is directing the arrangements.
