Anthony T. "Tony" Ruszkowski, 22, of Weirton, WV died Sunday July 3, 2011, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on County Road 17 A in Ohio. Born on December 12, 1988, in Steubenville, OH, Tony was the son of Walter and Judy Barker Ruszkowski of Weirton. Tony graduated from Weir High School in 2007, where he played football for the Weir High Red Riders in 2004 and 2005. A true animal lover, he enjoyed golf, and playing basketball down at the Millsop Community Center. When he was younger, Tony played baseball for ten years at the Starvaggi Termite Baseball Fields in Paris, PA. But most of all, Tony cherished the times spent with his grandfather. After attending West Virginia University, Tony managed Tudor's Biscuit World prior to taking a job in Tiltonsville, OH. In Tiltonsville, Tony met his fiancée, Julie Morris, and the couple is expecting their child to be born later this year. Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Rena Ruszkowski, and Charles Barker. He is survived by his mother and father, Walter and Judy Ruszkowski of Weirton; his sister, Kailey (Duane) Littleton of Plum, PA; his fiancé, Julie Morris and her son, Landon Morris of Tiltonsville, OH; his maternal grandmother, Norma Barker of Weirton, WV. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday at the Greco- Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
