Anthony Winston Rodriguez Scott, 24, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick. Anthony was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Columbus, NJ at the age of 10 years old. He was a member of the Fountain of Life Center and was very involved as a Dynamic Youth Leader and Worship Leader. He took pride in being active with the Light Rail Homeless Ministry and loved the Lord. Anthony was studying to become a Speech Pathologist and had a great personality that could change the environment with his presence. After a long day of work, his perfect day would consist of beautiful weather, and spending time with friends while eating Chick-fil-a pizza and drinking a blue Powerade. He is survived by his parents, Antonio Rodriguez and Zachyra Rodriguez; his sisters, Tatianna D'Auvergne, Zachivett Rodriguez; his brother, Mickael Rodriguez; his dog, Coco; his grandparents, Antonio and Mayra Rodriguez, Marva Mitchell, Dalisla and Alfredo Sanchez, and Winston and Patricia Scott; along with a host of family and dear friends. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. at the Fountain of Life Center, 2035 Columbus Road, Burlington, NJ 08016. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Fountain of Life Center. At the request of the family, bright summer colors are to be worn. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Anthony's memory to the Anthony Winston Rodriguez Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund. Contributions can be mailed to Stockton University Foundation, 101 Vera King Farris Drive, Galloway, NJ 08205 or online at www.stockton.edu/give. If contributions are made online please check the button "Previously Established Restricted Fund" and type in Anthony Winston Rodriguez Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund.
