Arkie was born on December 25, 1919 and passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.

Arkie was a resident of Fresno, California at the time of passing.

Arkie graduated from Tulare Union High School, Class of 1938, where he excelled in all sports.

Arkie enlisted in the United States Navy on August 8, 1942, as an Aviation Mechanist Master First Class with the Scouting Squadron VS65 and was stationed in the South Pacific for three and a half years and was discharged in November of 1945.
