She was the oldest of seven sisters and the fourth of thirteen siblings. She was educated in the Cleveland and West Virginia Public School Systems. She found the Lord at a young age and never forgot her roots. Arlene was a very outgoing, friendly person as an adult and child. She worked for the FBI in Washington, DC for several years and then moved to Philadelphia, where she worked several jobs finally working at the IRS for over thirty years, from which she retired. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Keith, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Thompson, brothers, Robert James (Curtis) and Victor Jr. (Fats), her sister, Janice (Clem); and a stepdaughter, Pam Chandler.
