Armand “Frenchy” George Caron, 85, of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away, Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 at his home.





Armand was born October 6, 1932 in Fall River, Massachusetts to Leo and Mary (Blouin) Caron. After graduating high school, Armand served in the United States Navy. On August 17th, 1961 he married Fritzi Lee Bock in Washington D.C. Armand served for over 30 years as chief of design for the United States Department of Commerce. He enjoyed being around the water, whether at the beach or with friends at Fairfax Swimming Pool. He enjoyed the art of dance with his wife. He was a wonderful graphic artist, avid World War II historian, Washington Redskins fan and talented carpenter. In addition, Armand had a wonderful sense of humor and contagious laugh, he loved his family and was a wonderful husband and father.





Armand is survived by his daughter Lisa Lee Weiss of Fairfax, Guy Armand Caron and his wife Yenci of Ashburn, Virginia; five grandchildren, sister in law and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Mary, his brother Adrien and his wife Fritzi Lee Caron.



A celebration of life ceremony and burial will take place in the spring of 2018 at

Mount Washington Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pennsylvania. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
