Arnold S. "George" Bazer, 72, passed away January 2, 2011. He was born in Bronx, NY and was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Bazer. He retired from the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and also retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, was a past Master of Willis B. Fentress Masonic Lodge #296 in 1988, Khedive Shrine Temple where he was in the Model T's and Drum and Bugle Corps, and a member of the Norfolk Scottish Rite. He is survived by his daughters, Debra Ellena and husband Jami, Sharon Taylor and husband Wesley, all of Norfolk, VA; son-in-law, Kyle Stein; grandchildren, Devin Taylor Arriaza and husband Alex, Melissa Stein, Gregory Stein, Ashley Ellena; great granddaughter, Areli Arriaza; brother-in-law, James Vanlandingham; and his nieces and nephews; along with best friends, Fred and Betty Crawford. He was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Stein; and sister, Harriet Vanlandingham; and grandson Richard Stein. A graveside service with Masonic Rites will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2011, in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
