Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Ruth (Billie) Hunter will be held 11 AM Friday, December 2, 2016 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Tommy Miles and Rev. Howell Thrash officiating. Interment in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday, December 1st at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services.
Mrs. Hunter, 74, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at her residence. She lived in Philadelphia most of her life. She worked as secretary for Jackson Public School System. Her hobbies include fishing, camping and cooking. Mrs. Hunter was a member of New Pleasantdale Baptist Church.
Preceded in death: parents, William Glyn Brunson and Hilda Ruth Froshour Brunson; brother, Glyn Allen Brunson; step-daughter, Debbie Landry.
Survivors: husband of 55 years, Charles Hunter Sr. of Phila; daughter, Teresa Ann Boutwell (Michael) of Brandon; step-daughters, Betty Meeks (Rick) of Alabama and Cindy Matthews (Rick) of Alabama; son, Charles Hunter Jr. (Janice) of Brandon; (2) grandchildren; (3) great-grandchildren.
