Baden was born on May 24, 1925 and passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016.

Baden was a resident of Rome, New York at the time of his passing.

He graduation from Minoa High School.

Baden enlisted in the Navy in November 1943 and served until April 1946. He served aboard the LST 197 in the Northern Pacific. Baden was a proud World War II Navy veteran serving as 2nd Class Radioman before also serving in the Army Reserves leaving both with an honorable discharge.

He was married to Betty.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Westmoreland United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Westmoreland Union Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at Prince-Boyd Hyatt Home for Funerals Inc. 210 W. Court St. Rome on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Westmoreland United Methodist Church.
